Dear Parents and Guests,
I’m thrilled to officially be a Comet and even more excited to work with the terrific staff that I have heard so much about during my first few weeks on the job! Thank you to everyone who has taken time this summer to stop by and introduce yourself. I appreciate that. I also look forward to meeting each of you and working with you in achieving our district’s vision, mission, and priorities.
As we transition into a “new” era, under new district leadership, I want to share with you some of my on the job learning experiences so far. By sharing what I’ve picked up during my first few weeks, I hope to ease your mind/thoughts about changing directions or abandoning any the work we’ve recently (within the past couple of years) begun. Please know - we are going to continue with the initiatives that are in place and have lead to improved student successes over the past few years. We are not changing direction nor abandoning the work you have been focused on. I also believe it is important for me to continue to learn about the history of the work done in our District --and the good work that has taken place over the past decades.
Again, I am excited to be joining the Comet Family and look forward to working with each of you.
Sincerely,
Ronald S. Saari
