Welcome to the School District of Waupaca

The School District of Waupaca is located in east central Wisconsin at the intersection of United States Highway 10 and Wisconsin State Highways 22, 49, and 54. Since the early days of settlement, visitors have traveled to Waupaca to enjoy the area's many lakes, sparkling rivers, gorgeous scenery and small-town atmosphere. The Waupaca community features strong industrial and service components. Existing industries include a large foundry, food processing, specialty paper production, publishing, horse trailers and more. Service industries include county and city government, schools, medical, nursing, banking, dining and shopping.

The School District of Waupaca serves this community with approximately 2,500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve enrolled and serviced in our four schools - the Waupaca High School, Waupaca Middle School, Waupaca Learning Center Elementary School, and the Chain O' Lakes Elementary School.

Wisconsin Broadband Dashboard

The School District of Waupaca is participating in efforts to determine the current status of Internet broadband access in Wisconsin and where improvements are needed.  The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC-W) are partnering to promote a residential and business broadband demand survey from April through May, 2013.   This is part of the larger LinkWisconsin project (http://www.link.wisconsin.gov).

We encourage parents and businesses to complete the following survey. Through these surveys we hope that we can begin to address the digital divide many of our students face and bring the broadband needed in our communities, schools and classrooms.
