Spanish Instructor Email Phone: 715.258.4131 ¡Hola! y ¡Bienvenidos al mundo de español! Hello! and Welcome to the world of Spanish! My name is Kathy Batten (Señora Batten) to my students. This is my 25th year teaching at Waupaca High and I'm still loving it. My interest in learning the language of Spanish started in High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1990 with a double-major in English and Spanish. I've been teaching here at WHS since the fall of 1990. I then enjoyed my graduate studies from Marian College, now Marian University in Fond du Lac. I earned my Masters Degree in Education from Marian College in 2002. This school year I teach Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish III. I also am one of two advisors of the Spanish Club. The times I am available for help are 5B hall duty, 8th hour prep 2:22 - 3:09, or before and after school. Here's my contact information:
