Student Services is here to support and empower you! It's important to find Greater Purpose in your time spent in high school & beyond. We are here to help you navigate through all of the wonderful options available at WHS, and to provide support in emergent situations, as well as helping to plan your future. We are open Monday - Friday from 7:30-3:30.

Appointments with the counselors are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome (scheduled appointments will take priority with the exceptions of emergencies). OUR MISSION: To empower students to reach their potential through collaborative efforts with staff, parents, and the community.

Student Services' primary function is to assist each student in discovering and meeting his/her academic, career, and personal/social needs. The counselor's assistance will always follow a course of action which will best meet the needs of a student at a particular time. The counselors feel that each person in the school is an individual, and that students gain when they are treated as such.

Scheduling Information

Scheduling for the following year classes typically begins in mid to late -February. Students, remember it is your responsibility to choose your class selections wisely. Schedule changes are not permitted. Please read the course descriptions and follow the course option flow charts to choose a fitting selection/sequence of courses. Any questions about what course(s) to take please schedule an appointment with your counselor to review your options and plan the best path to achieve your goal. Are you College Ready?

There is a lot to do and know to be prepared for college. This is why our School Counselors meet with you throughout your years at WHS. We schedule Junior Conferences and Senior Meetings on a yearly basis and meet with 100% of those classes to make sure all our students are on track for their future. Interested in when a College Representative or Military Recruiter will be here? That information is shared through Mrs. Kosobucki in our Waupaca Works.
